Overview
A shield anchor is an expansion bolt that is suitable for use with most types of concrete and masonry. Shield anchors spread the load across the material they are installed in, making them great for high load-bearing applications.

Installation
- Drill a hole of required diameter and depth. Note: When fixing into brick work, mortar joints should be avoided.
- Clear the hole of drilling dust and debris (using blow pump or equivalent method).
- Remove pre-assembled bolt and washer. Insert shield into hole and tap home with hammer until flush with surface.
- Insert bolt with washer through fixture into the shield.
- Tighten to the recommended torque.
