Mineral Fiber GlassWool

Gypsemna audio-insul is used as an integral part of a Gypsemna partition, ceiling, or wall lining to enhance the sound or thermal insulation of the system. It is also used in conjuction with Gypsemna perforated gypsum board in ceilings or wall linings to enhance the sound absorption performance of the system.

Overview

Gypsemna Audio-Insul is a thermal and acoustical Insulation in the form of a flexible blanket manufactured from inorganic glass mineral wool bonded by a thermosetting polymer resin binder.

Advantages

  • Audio-insul does not sustain mould growth. However, mould can grow on almost any material when it becomes wet and contaminated. Therefore, insulation exposed to water should be carefully inspected. If any signs of mould growth, it must be discarded. If the material is wet and does not show any sign of mold growth, it should be dried rapidly and thoroughly.
  • CAUTION: Audio-insul may cause temporary skin irritation. When handling, wear long-sleeved, loose-fitting clothing, head covering, gloves and eye protection.
