J Track

Gypsemna J Track is the horizontal top member of shaftwall structure into which the corresponding Gypsemna’s CH and E Stud is fitted, allowing a vertical movement from the ceiling or roof. This vertical deflection prevents loads from being transferred to the studs. It is a strong non-load bearing component for shaftwall partitions and ceilings.

Overview

Gypsemna J Track section provides a friction-fit for CH and E studs, holding them in position until the lining board is installed and assisting in board alignment. Components for shaftwall CH, E stud and J track products are cold roll-formed from hot-dipped galvanised steel (corrosion-resistant) and are available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses.
